CableSafe® Safety Hooks (CS), also known as S-Hooks and Cable Safety Hooks, help with cable management and housekeeping. They are an easy and effective way to keep cords up and prevent tripping hazards. CableSafe® Safety Hooks are applied in industrial settings and work as a safety product to suspend hoses, cables and equipment, eliminating trips or other hazards caused from unsafe objects on the floor.

Four sizes are available — CS-6, CS-9, CS-12, and CS-15. The number designation refers to the overall length of the hook in inches. Each larger size is thicker and stronger for carrying loads. Each larger size also has larger openings in the S-shapes.
- Principally, the hooks are employed to elevate work lines, thus avoiding tripping hazards. This feature is particularly useful in high activity areas or limited work areas such as during plant turnarounds and aboard ships and offshore rigs.
- Because the hooks are molded of a glass-filled polyester, they are non-conductive and have smooth edges that will not cut or abrade the work lines. They can be used to hold electrical lines, air lines, water hoses, welding leads, and hydraulic lines. They are very easy to install almost anywhere and can be reused on many future jobs.

No, the hooks are only intended to bear static loads. They are normally used to hold cables, wires, hoses, and other work lines off the ground and reduce tripping hazards.

The glass-filled polyester material used to mold the hooks has a temperature range designated from -4° F (-20° C) to 392° F (200° C).
Yes. Each end of the hook has a small hole in it just for this purpose. Once the work lines are placed into the hook, simply use a tie wrap through the hole, across the line and around the body of the safety hook. The work lines should be secured until you release them.
