Pedestrian Safety Gate Swing and Rise

When the Safety Gate is to be mounted in a tight space, such as a corner or narrow catwalk area, the designer must be aware of the both the rise and the kick-out caused by the swing rotation of the self-closing gate. This is depicted in the the below drawings.
