CUSTOM MOLDING APPLICATIONS

Since 1978 when we opened for business, Intrepid has made a wide variety  of custom parts for various customers .  These have ranged from small parts like the ones shown at right, and have included pipe supports, cable markers, instrument housings, spray nozzles, and electrical insulators.  The material that we use is called Instant Set Polymer (ISP).  It is a strong, rigid polyurethane that can be molded as well as easily machined into a variety of shapes.

When the part volume is greater, we can mold the material into complex shapes with wall thicknesses that vary from thin to thick.

The large insulator, marine housing parts, valve yokes, and bus bar support parts shown are several examples of this.
